Colorado Springs Utilities Control Center Renovation & Technology Upgrades

This utility was in an existing space that was badly in need of renovation. It was fitted with old-fashioned, out-of-the-box consoles and outdated technology. BAW Architecture’s renovation included custom consoles that expressed their operator-centric ethos, ISO 11064 ergonomically correct modern furniture, lighting, acoustics and material finishes. New technology was also integrated. A single-story space was converted into 2-story space, to take full advantage of the square footage.
